“I love helping people understand that they can influence the way the body and mind work; with just a little help from me, they can get back in the driving seat of their life.
Our body and mind do a pretty good job of running on auto-pilot most of the time but sometimes there can be things that get in our way, such as injury, trauma, stress or anxiety, and that’s where I come in, to help you get back on track.
We all know that, on occasions, our car or home may, may need additional maintenance or expert attention – our bodies and mind no different. Give it the right attention, at the earliest opportunity and it is more likely to be running at its best.
I absolutely love the work I do; inspiring, supporting and encouraging others to the get the best they can from their body and this experience called life!”
Inspiring and supporting positive change has always been my mission
Sandra’s love of the freedom to move was fundamental to her choice of career as a Physiotherapist. Qualifying from Kings College Hospital London in 1987, she worked in numerous physiotherapy roles within the NHS and private practice. She also spent time as a senior manager within a Primary Care Trust.
She continued her passion for influencing well-being by qualifying as a Pilates Instructor in 2009.
After many hours working with clients, she recognised how our emotions impact our physical body and our recovery from injury. This sparked her interest in bringing together the connection of the body and mind and led her to train as a Clinical Hypnotherapist and Psychological Therapist, establishing BodyMind Solutions in Rainham, Kent, in 2014, where she offers Physiotherapy, Stress and Anxiety Therapy and Pilates instruction.
